How to Help

Become a volunteer carer or mentor

Any adult can apply to become a carer with us. Our children come from struggling families who often lack a strong support network. We match all referred children with a carer or mentor for regular visits or catch ups, to give them the opportunity to share new experiences with an extra role model who can provide a nurturing and stable relationship over time. For further details, see our Become a Carer or Mentor page.

Donate now

You can support Time for Kids and make a positive difference for to the life of a child in need in South Australia through donation, community fundraising, special events and bequests. You can also provide regular support through payroll giving, or plan a fundraising activity in your workplace or school. Click on the yellow Donate tab on the left or see our Donate page for more information.

Become a Lionheart

Our annual Lionhearts Lunch is Time for Kids major fundraising event. Every year, community and business leaders of South Australia come together to enjoy fine wine, wonderful food, and to bid on an exciting array of auction items – generously donated by our sponsors. See our Lionhearts page to get involved.

Christmas and Easter gifting

Every year, we collect gifts and raise funds to provide our children with Christmas and Easter presents and their families with food aid, to ensure that every child in our program has a chance at a brighter holiday. If you are interested in arranging a collection drive at your work or among friends, refer to our Christmas and Easter Donations page.
