Changing the world for a child on Mother’s Day
This year is the 50th anniversary of Time for Kids and to raise funds for the next 50 years the organisation is selling gifts of time in the form of anniversary dolls. By purchasing a doll for just $50 South Australians are helping sponsor a child in need of a local volunteer family. Each sponsorship will help Time for Kids match another South Aussie kid in need with a local family.

New role for actor Erik Thomson as Special Anniversary Ambassador for Time for Kids.
Time For Kids is a not for profit organisation that has been working with disadvantaged families and children in South Australia since 1960. Who better to help kick off its 50th Anniversary year than actor Erick Thomson, best known for his role as ‘Dave Rafter’ in Channel Seven’s Packed to the Rafters.

Time for Kids Secures Grant from Future2 FoundationThe Future 2 Foundation and local financial planners have thrown their support behind Time For Kids, a not for profit organisation that has been working with disadvantaged families and children in South Australia since 1960. One of three grants of $10,000 each has been awarded to Time for Kids to initiate a financial literacy program for the families of children who need respite care on a regular basis. According to Jo Wickes CEO Time for Kids this new partnership is a great start for the organisation’s 50th Anniversary with members of the financial planning fraternity volunteering their time to help struggling households to learn financial management skills such as setting saving and spending goals, establishing budgets and providing ongoing mentoring into the future.
