Refer a Child
Need our help?Children can be referred to Time for Kids by social workers, teachers, school counsellors or other human services workers. We cannot take referrals from family members or friends.
If you are a parent or guardian and think that Time for Kids could help, please talk to one of the above workers connected to your child.
Referring workersIf you're a social worker, school counsellor or other human services worker you can refer a child to Time for Kids. Please phone us if you have any questions about referral criteria. We can send you out the official Referral Form to complete or you can download the documents below and either fax or email them back to Time for Kids.
To find the best match for the child or children, it is vital that we get as much information about the child being referred as possible. This includes information about interests, behavioural problems, medical conditions, history and relevant family background, toilet training difficulties, ability to relate to others etc.

Please note: For referrals for children under the Guardianship of the Minister, please use the Relative Kinship Care referral form
2. Permission form to be signed by the parent / guardian
