We are delighted to be partnering with the Australian Institute of Social Relations (AISR), the registered training branch of Relationships Australia South Australia (RASA) to deliver a series of training and information sessions for our volunteer carers and mentors in 2019.

Deepen your understanding of your Time for Kids child through a trauma informed lens.
Responding to challenging behaviours:
through the child’s eyes

Learn to identify your child’s behaviour as communication using a child focused approach. This session will include strategies to assist in dealing with behaviours that are often difficult and confusing to understand.
Communication and Culture Wednesday 4 September

How do you keep yourself in the work?
Building hope and resilience.
Wednesday 9 October
5.30 - 7.30pm
Learning how to take care of yourself is vital for staying in this work for the long run. This session aims to develop your resilience and build hope for your work as a Time for Kids volunteer.
